Product haul – E.L.F Cosmetics
I’ve got two January hauls left but neither made it on time, so instead you’ll get the first February haul!
Everyone talks about E.L.F. Cosmetics all the time so of course I had to try it out. With their prices, even a poor student can buy quite a few things and I made sure to take advantages of their 25% off offer (that’s a lot of “of’s”) so I got these things for super-cheap!
I’m giving you individual pictures this time since I haven’t had time to take any of my own and the make-up is already sorted in the bathroom. Here we go:
Essentials Eyelid Primer, 13 kr – An eyelid primer to prep the eye for the eyeshadow. Supposedly it also “increases the eye color longevity”. We’ll see about that. But I have found that it also works to make you look a little more awake.
Mineral Eyeshadow Primer, 27 kr – Another sheer eyelid primer since I couldn’t decide on which one to try out. This one sounds better but I won’t know until after I try them out. It says the primer contains key vitamins A, C and E to help prevent aging as well as moisturizing the skin. The primer is from their mineral line which is supposedly the “high-end” of their products. 100% mineral based with no parabenes, no preservatives and no chemical dyes.
Studio Corrective Concealer Erase & Conceal, 34 kr – A four-color concealer that conceals under-eye darkness, redness, etc. Exists in two sets of colors, each with it’s own “problem areas” to fix.
Essentials Tone Correction Concealer, 13 kr – I got mine in the color Leight Beige. It’s a pain in the ass trying to determine which shade will fit your skin – through a screen. This is supposed to be a silicon treatment that covers skin tone imperfections and readness, “leaving skin with a healthy glow”.
Flawless Concealer Brush, 34 kr – With this you can create an airbrush effect with any liquid or powder concealer. I really need new brushes so I figured I’d try this one out.
Studio Makeup Remover Pen, 34 kr- This is the one I’m most excited about. You use this as a normal felt-pen, only it’s for removing make-up smudges, e.g. when you mess up the eyeliner or blink before the mascara dries and don’t want to ruin your foundation and/or eyeshadow. It also has vitamin E, cucumber and chamomile to moisturize the skin. I really hope this one is a winner.
Like always, reviews will follow as soon as I get a chance to check the products out.
